About Journal
The Departmental research Journal Danish is one of the oldest reputed peer reviewed research journals of the university of Kashmir. The first Volume of it was brought out in 1969 under the chairmanship of Presidential award winner late Prof. Shamas-ud-Din Ahmad. Then head Department of Persian, University of Kashmir. The journal is fortunate enough to have amongst its reputed editorial board some rennowed and prestigious award winning members like Jnnpith and Padma Shri awarde Prof Rehman Rahi, Padma Shri Kashi Naath Pandita, Presidiential Awardes Prof M.S Niazmand, Prof M.M Masoodi and Prof Syeda Rukuia. The Department has brought out 401Volumes till 2023. The journal is published annualy and reputed scholars from Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Bangladesh etc Contribute their research articles in it. The Journal is published in trilingual that is Persian, English and Urdu.
